Brooks first moved to the Treasure Valley in 1975. He received his undergraduate degree locally at Boise State University (summa cum laude), and then pursued graduate work at Pacific University in Oregon where he earned both his Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy (summa cum laude).

His primary area of specialty is in general orthopedics (peripheral joints and spine). He has special interests in shoulder rehabilitation, foot mechanics, and sports medicine. He is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), and is working toward credentialing with the North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT).

Brooks’ personal interests encompass much of the “Idaho Experience,” including camping, mountain biking, running, backpacking, and so on. He shares many of these interests with his wife and two sons. He is also a certified interscholastic coach in tennis, volleyball, and basketball.

Dave moved to Boise in 1991 to begin his career in Physical Therapy following graduation from The University Of North Dakota.

His practice includes all general orthopedic diagnoses with specific interest in peripheral joints (shoulder/elbow/hip/knee/ankle). His love of sports has led to additional work with athletes (young and old), helping them return to their athletic activities.

Dave enjoys golf, rafting, hiking, and coaching young athletes. His wife and their 4 children enjoy travel and the beauty found here in Idaho.

Bret is a Boise native and attended high school at Boise High School. He graduated college in 2004 with a Bachelor’s of Science (Biology/Pre-med) from Albertson College of Idaho (College of Idaho) and played soccer there for two years. Due to injuries he became a patient at Foothills Physical Therapy where he was inspired to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Bret earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Maryland School of Medicine, class of 2010. Bret also has a National D license from the United States Youth Soccer Association and coaches locally for the Boise Nationals Soccer Club. He enjoys working with all types of orthopedic patients and empathizes and motivates based on his own personal experiences with injuries, surgeries and rehab.

Bret enjoys an active Idaho lifestyle, enjoying the outdoors, water sports, snow sports, playing/coaching soccer and watching BSU win. GO BRONCOS!!

Jake is a native of Walla Walla, Washington. He received a Bachelor of Science (Health Science, Psychology minor) from Boise State in which he graduated magna cum laude in 2014. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University in Arizona in which he graduated summa cum laude in 2017.

During his didactic and clinical experience Jake developed a passion for orthopedics and sports medicine. His special interests include shoulder, vestibular, and golf-specific rehabilitation. His treatment philosophy incorporates a combination of manual therapy and functional / sport specific exercises.

Jake enjoys spending time with his wife Katie as well as their family and friends. His personal interests include watching Seahawk/BSU football, working out, traveling, playing guitar, hunting, fishing, golf, water sports, hiking, basketball, snow sports, yard games, and any other activities that involve movement or being outs

Chris, a native of Lafayette, Louisiana, graduated with honors in Biological Sciences from Louisiana State University. Chris completed his doctorate of physical therapy with honors from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, Texas.

He is currently working on receiving his Manual Therapy Certification, aligning with his strong interest in musculoskeletal conditions and maximizing performance. Chris and his fiancé, Amethyst, have been exploring the foothills, streams, ski mountains, and everything the outdoors have to offer since their move to Idaho. Chris also enjoys cooking, playing piano, and exploring different types of fitness. Geaux Tigers!’

Breann Fox, DPT, PRPC

Breann was born and raised in Arizona and played 4 years of D-1 collegiate soccer followed by two years at the semi-professional level. Breann was a certified strength & conditioning specialist for years at the high school, club, and collegiate level prior to attending PT school. She earned her Doctorate from A.T. Still University’s esteemed Physical Therapy program in 2013. Breann’s focus and area of expertise is in men, women & children’s pelvic health, sexual health, and visceral manipulation. She has completed over 400 hours of post doctorate education in these areas and is one of only two Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioners Certified (PRPC) in the Treasure Valley.

Breann has taught as adjunct faculty for the Doctoral programs at Midwestern University and A.T. Still University in Arizona and is currently a Professor for Idaho State University’s DPT program. Breann is credentialed through the Barral Institute as a Teaching Assistant for Visceral Manipulation. Breann has presented at the state level to several organizations on topics related to Urogynecological Health and often educates the community through Boiselearns.org. Breann co-developed “Pregnancy and Postpartum Core Connections Workshop” in Phoenix, Arizona, and P.O.W.E.R for like minded practitioners here in the Boise area. Recently, Breann was nominated as Woman of the Year by the Idaho Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and lead a 10 week campaign raising funds for blood cancer. She continues her philanthropic passion with LLS.

When she is not working on personal or professional development, you can find Breann spending quality time with her husband and son Cordell, working out, drinking coffee, and reading.

Chris is a native of the Chicagoland area and in May 2013, he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University. Following that, he completed Scottsdale Healthcare’s Orthopaedic Residency (now Honor Health) in July 2014. He became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist (OCS) in 2015. He is currently enrolled in Optim Manual Therapy Fellowhip.

He has completed coursework in Functional Movement Screen (FMS) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Kinetacore Functional Dry Needling Level 1 certification, Visceral Manipulation Level 1 and IASTM Technique. He is currently serving as faculty for Optim Manual Therapy’s COMT program and has served as faculty and mentor for Foothills Sports Medicine’s Orthopaedic Residency. Additionally, he has served as adjunct faculty for Northern Arizona University’s Phoenix Campus DPT program.

Chris is one of the founders of The Student Physical Therapist website, a resource for physical therapist development. Having just relocated to the Boise area, Chris is looking forward to exploring the Idaho outdoors with his wife and son. He enjoys hiking, running, weight-lifting, and playing golf and basketball. Jerret has continued his education studying advanced techniques in orthopaedic and manual therapy through NAIOMT, as well as Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, OCS. He also has five years of experience managing a local physical therapy clinic and is currently Vice President/Co-owner of Foothills Physical Therapy.

Jerret’s personal interests include a balance between spending time with his family (wife, Kammi, and daughters Lilly, Lucy, Ruby) and outdoor recreation, and preferably both. His recreational passions include downhill skiing, water skiing, mountain biking, trail running, golf, whitewater rafting, camping/backpacking and anything else Idaho’s outdoors can throw at him.

Sarah was born and raised in Colorado.  She discovered her interest in physical therapy after experiencing multiple injuries as a soccer player.  Following high school, she moved to Virginia, where she graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor’s in Science (Kinesiology, Exercise Science).

Sarah earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016.  During her clinical rotations, she developed a passion for concussion management, sports medicine, and orthopedic injuries.  She enjoys connecting with her patients and using her personal experiences in physical therapy to motivate and encourage them throughout the rehabilitation process.

Sarah recently moved to Boise with her husband.  She spends her free time exploring the Treasure Valley area, coaching youth soccer, and taking advantage of the outdoor lifestyle Idaho has to offer.

Pam was born and raised in Ohio and moved to Boise in 2004, after spending eleven years in Chicago. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine with a concentration in Athletic Training from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. She then went on to receive her Master’s of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago.

Pam has specialized in treating patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries for almost 15 years. She has previously managed two different clinics, including a large orthopedic and sports medicine clinic in the Chicago western suburbs, and is the past head athletic trainer for Timothy Christian High School in Elmhurst, Illinois. She has special interest in treatment of the knee, shoulder, and hip, and is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).

Pam’s personal interests include spending time with her husband and seven year old daughter; volleyball, skiing, hiking, and anything in the Idaho outdoors.

Danielle is a native from the Chicago-land area. She received her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Elmhurst College in Illinois and then her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Southwest Baptist University in Missouri on May 2013. She participated in collegiate sports in both basketball and cross country. Danielle worked in New Mexico for 4 years at two private outpatient orthopedic practices, completed a traveling physical therapy rotation in Washington state, and then recently moved to Boise in November 2017.

She has gotten certified in KinetaCore Functional Dry Needling Level 1 and is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. She has experience in treating all general orthopedic diagnoses with her special interests including treating runners, young athletes, and promoting a healthy lifestyle and injury prevention. Danielle and her husband enjoy traveling abroad, being active outside including trail running, snowboarding, and hiking, as well as playing and watching basketball.

Brian is a native of Galveston, Texas who was first introduced to Boise by way of a football scholarship to Boise State University. In 2003 he completed his undergraduate education and received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, becoming the first BSU football athlete to complete this Sports Medicine curriculum.

Brian became certified as an Athletic Trainer (ATC) and was hired as an intern Athletic Trainer for both the N.Y. Giants (preseason) and Washington Redskins (regular season) in 2003. In 2005 Brian enrolled at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences and earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Brian’s areas of specialty are orthopedic and sports injury prevention and rehabilitation, and he is a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS). He brings his competitive and perfectionist attitude to the clinic, motivating patients to reach or exceed their highest potential.

Brian enjoys working out, watching football (GO BRONCOS), and is interested in experiencing more that Boise has to offer.

Nicole is a Boise native, graduating from Capital High School. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Utah State University, magna cum laude. She completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 1998 at Arcadia University graduating with distinction.

Following P.T. school, Nicole moved to Massachusetts where she joined the SPORT team in a large hospital group. As part of this group she worked with a diverse patient population with a broad spectrum of injuries from acute sport injuries and trauma to chronic wear and tear.

Nicole has also worked in home care, geriatrics, women’s issues, and oncology. As a result, Nicole has a developed a “Big picture” approach to wellness. Nicole returned to Boise in 2011 to raise her children and be closer to family. She enjoys running, hiking, scrapbooking and spending time with her husband and children exploring all Idaho has to offer.

She then went on to earn her Masters in Physical Therapy (summa cum laude) from Cal State University, Long Beach in 2003.

Kim has a wide range of experience including acute, home health, and outpatient orthopedics. However, her true passion is integrating Pilates as a primary treatment modality. This passion started after she sustained a back injury that led to her own rehabilitation. After personally experiencing the benefits of Pilates, Kim decided to obtain a Pilates Certification in 2008 to integrate and offer this exercise method, and its benefits, to her patients.

In 2011, she decided to open her own Pilates-Based Physical Therapy practice in San Diego, CA where she specialized in treating chronic back and lower extremity issues. During this time she completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree (magna cum laude) from the University of Montana. In February of 2016, Kim and her family relocated to Boise. She enjoys spending time with her family and looks forward to bringing Pilates-Based physical therapy to her patients here.

Lisa graduated from Idaho State University with a Master of Physical Therapy in 1995. When she’s not a work, Lisa will probably be found doing some type of outdoor adventure such as hiking, biking, skiing, camping, or backpacking in the mountains near her hometown of McCall or in the beautiful Sawtooths around Stanley.
